Year 5 Summer Taster Evening 2026

Our evening for the girls academy will run from 5:15-7:30 pm on Tuesday 7th July.

Parents and students have the opportunity to meet key staff at Avonbourne, have pizza (students) and refreshments (parents) with us in the canteen from 5:15-5:45 pm. This will be followed by two taster sessions led by subject staff at Avonbourne Academies. The evening will finish at 7:30 pm.

Please highlight your preferences in taster lessons below. Please note there are limited places in some subjects and these will be based on first come first served. A confirmation email with your taster lessons will be sent to you at the beginning of July.

Parents and children should wear comfortable clothing on the evening and bring with them any questions they have about Avonbourne Boys' and Girls' Academies.

The deadline for completion of the this form is Friday 26th June 2026 at 3:30 pm. After this time, the form will be taken down and responses collated. A confirmation email confirming your son/daughter's place as well as their taster lessons will be sent at the beginning of July.
