Bus Route 46

Due to roadworks starting on 8th December the 46 route will be slightly different.

As such, the 46 school service will need to start from Muscliffe Primary School in Shillingstone Drive (1st Stop) from tomorrow morning (08/12/2023)

According to our information there has been no students picked up from Throop stop since September so we don't envisage an issue but please do let me know if this presents a problem to any students.

PLEASE SEE THE BELOW INFORMATION WHICH WAS EMAILED HOME TO PARENTS ON 13/01 FROM BCP

Dear Parents/Carers,

We have received the following information from BCP Council.

Transport Consultation You can find the press release here and if you or parents/carers have any questions they can contact rowan.parris@bcpcouncil.gov.uk Councillor Nicola Greene, Portfolio Holder for Council Priorities and Delivery, said: “Under a united Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, it is crucial that key policies like Home to School Transport are consistent and that residents living in the BCP area have fair and equal access to transport assistance to support students to travel to school. “We understand how important it is for students and parents that these decisions are made quickly and fairly. Our priority remains ensuring that every child in the BCP Council area has an equal opportunity for a high-quality education and we recognise how essential transportation can be for accessibility.”

This policy will come into effect for the 2022/23 academic year and would apply to all applications for home to school travel assistance. The deadline to take part is 21st February at; https://haveyoursay.bcpcouncil.gov.uk/hometoschool.
